At the heart of the design is a cheerful return of the festive Malaysian white cat (CNY 2025 patch), this time dressed in traditional Malay attire, perched comfortably on a crescent moon. The intricate patterns on the moon reflect the elegance of Islamic art, while the ketupat—woven rice cakes synonymous with Hari Raya—hang gently above, representing togetherness, forgiveness, purity, and unity.

But what makes this patch truly unique to our community is the festive cat clutching a flashlight—a nod to the practical, preparedness-driven mindset of our EDC community.
