BASI[X] VAPOR HAT

BASI[X]™ (pronounced bei.siks) collection focuses on everyday essentials and accessories.

As with Code of Bell's bags, this collection is an exploration to take ordinary objects and/or style, and to infuse Code of Bell's design concept for an elevated aesthetic, functionality, and user experience.

While the VAPOR HAT retains a familiar baseball hat silhouette, it is a completely new and original design like no other. A multi-panel construction allows heat and moisture to escape for comfort, while providing protection from the elements.

Similar to Code of Bell's CAMPER HAT, it is built using ECOPAK™ fabric, which features a similar diamond-shaped pattern like the X-Pac®. However, it is the world’s only durable and waterproof fabric made from 100% recycled polyester fiber and film. A PFC-free (C0) DWR coating is used, making it more environmentally friendly than traditional water-repellent coatings. ECOPAK™ fabric lasts longer, absorbs 80% less moisture, and has better UV resistance and color retention than traditional laminated nylon.

To enhance this, Code of Bell added laser-cut slits and vents to allow heat and moisture to escape, while still providing protection against the elements. A mesh panel is also added in the inner forehead to create spacing for better air circulation.

Furthermore, an easy-to-use sliding + self-lock rear size adjuster replaces traditional ones, allowing for the perfect fit. No need to snap one hole at a time. The front visor is perforated to reduce weight while retaining its shape.

For peace of mind, the rear loop is made of reflective material, and a soft, moisture-wicking, antimicrobial headband is used inside for added comfort.
