Double Name Project II - 4020X Backpack

Back in 2020, CofB had the privilege of working with one of our longtime favorite brand from the land of the rising sun, HARVEST LABEL®. Together, we launched a one-of-a-kind capsule collection called DOUBLE NAME PROJECT ™.

Perhaps an under the radar brand for many outside of Japan. But as they near their 30th year anniversary in 2025, they are a brand rich with history and Japan-made quality.

Now, we are excited to announce our second collaborative work, the DOUBLE NAME PROJECT II.

This time, we took one of their iconic designs and gave it an update/upgrade with COFB’s DNA. A reverse take from the first project when we took COFB bags and infused with their elements. The outcome is a backpack that is truly versatile, not only from a functional perspective, but also for its transformative look to fit your needs and style.

The name ‘4020’ is taken from the SKU# of their original backpack (HJH-4020) launched back in the late 90’s under one of their legendary collection, FLYER’S. We decided to keep this number and added the ‘X’ to reflect this project.

The FLYER'S collection incorporated design elements from the MA-1 fighter pilot bomber jackets. Thus many of their current collection still continue to use the bonded nylon fabric with orange inner lining. For this project, we kept other key elements such as the wind-guard along the main compartment zipper, side compression straps and unique bottom panel design amongst others.
