Originally developed for high-performance outdoor equipment, ULTRA 200X combines exceptional durability with low weight. Its waterproof laminated construction and UHMWPE fibers create a crisp, technical shell built for demanding travel.
A custom 210D Nylon 6,6 lining in bright white makes locating your gear quicker, whether you're digging through an overhead bin or packing before an early flight. The lighter-weight textile also contributes to overall weight savings without compromising durability.
All exterior zippers use YKK’s most durable RC zipper with a PU lamination that helps shed rain, snow, and splashes while maintaining smooth operation. Combined with the waterproof ULTRA shell textile, they add another layer of weather resistance for travel in unpredictable conditions.
Full clamshell opening allows for easy packing when loading CTB. Internal mesh zippered pocket and opaque security pocket with drop-in pockets add additional internal organization.

ULTRA 200X is an advanced shell textile chosen for one reason: it delivers exceptional durability while keeping weight to a minimum. Built with UHMWPE fibers and a waterproof laminate, it offers impressive abrasion resistance in a lightweight and sleek package. The fabric has a crisp, structured hand feel with a subtle cross-ply pattern that gives it a distinctly technical character.
I am a self confessed CTB addict, but my biggest gripe had always been the CTB 26 dry weight, so the Ultra was almost an inevitable buy for me despite my reservations about ultra fabric in general.
I have a few CTBs and on the day I got the Ultra, I brought my camo Griffin to run a carry comparison. My son and I swapped the 2 bags through the next 2 days, with maybe 5-8kg in each bag and we both came to the same conclusion - for some reason the Ultra straps seem less comfortable. I tested against my standard Ecopack CTB26 as well and yes, it seems like the straps on the Ultra feel narrower and less comfortable.
Aside from that, the rest is pretty much identical to other CTB 26s, I would say that the Ultra fabric combo used seems less noisy than other ultra fabric bags I have used in the past. I will carry it more to see if maybe the straps need a break-in period of some form.
